Saint Basil’s Cathedral (Pokrovsky Cathedral) – a unique monument of the Russian architecture of the 16th century, unoffi cial symbol of Moscow.
Erected on orders from Ivan the to commemorate the victory over the Tatar Khanate. Church service renewed in 1991.
